Movewise Fundraiser Social: All proceeds go back to performance project students who paid for up to 5 costumes for just two routines this season. After our first seamstress disappeared on us 3 weeks before our debut we found a backup seamstress in desperation. This backup seamstress charged us for premium hand tailored costumes, but sent us costumes that didn’t fit and we’re even sewn in uniformity. After remaking the outfits, the costumes came back wrong again. Because of this, our students have had to buy backup outfits to wear at the festivals we were confirmed to attend all year. The seamstress initially refused to give a refund, but after strong pushback, they agreed to give us 50% back of what we paid ($3,280 total). Help us pay our students back completely for the costumes that are not wearable and have fun at the same time. Our goal is to raise an additional $2,000 to pay everyone back for the costumes they’ll never be able to use.

this class is perfect for any level dancer, however it is designed for absolute beginners. Bring your friends and learn to dance the rhythms of salsa on2. The first half of class is focused on footwork, and the second half is all about partnerwork!
